When Cute Tot reached 1 year and a week, HomeSchool has already begun with very minimal tools. That was when i realised i have to properly plan my activities so as to achieve maximum FUN with the little tot.
So i did. And Subhaanallah... the other homeschool mummies all over the world are very generous with their teaching tools, tips and printables. I had fun learning, reading and experimenting with my own little Cute Tot. The experience of benefitting from other mummies' generosity sparks this desire to restart journaling online, henceforth, blogging.
Why Homeschooling?
I grow up with the philosophy that home is my first madrasah (Arabic for School). I was taught moral values, social ettiquettes, reading, writing, etc, from my mom, and reinforced by my relatives. I was sent to school and continued getting education from my teachers, just like other kids. I intend to do the same to my children. My role as a mother in homeschooling my children is to facilitate the love towards learning and exploring, just like what my mom did :)
A home is a School is a Home =)
It is an exciting beginning. I'm enjoying the process so far :)
